About

It's time to ask ourselves, "Am I really following Jesus? Or am I just faking it?"

With eye-opening personal stories, Scripture, and thought-provoking questions, Andi Andrew lovingly invites us to examine our hearts to discover whether our faith is a genuine, life-giving marriage of belief and practice in response to Christ's life and sacrifice or just a lifestyle choice on par with any other. She encourages us to daily surrender our whole lives to Jesus, grapple with hard questions we have been avoiding, and discover a life lived wide awake, following in the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ.

"Andi Andrew is a gifted, captivating, witty, and brilliant communicator of God's Word; she brings it to life like no other. Our church and Arise Women's conferences have been greatly impacted by the transparency of her life and her Robin Williams-esque, genius back-and-forth-staccato style of communication. But as great a communicator as she is, her latest book, Fake or Follower, is the genuine article--a true literary work of authenticity that calls a generation of believers to live out our 'only message.' Andi's voice is heard through every sentence and her passion conveyed in every chapter. Fake or Follower has impacted our hearts, and if you allow it to, it will impact yours."

You know that whatever she's dishing out is cut-you-to-the-core real. And the truth behind her words is not only eternity-minded but also life-shifting. Sharon Hodde Miller, author of Free of Me: Why Life Is Better When It's Not about You

"There is a popular saying that goes, 'Fake it till you make it.' As an artist in the entertainment industry, I know all too well that this 'please-perform-perfect-never-enough' mentality runs rampant in pop culture, seeking to strip away identity and clip wings before people ever take flight. However, there is hope, and Fake or Follower serves as an awakener to that hope. It challenges the status quo of stopping at belief in the rules that come with religion, and it incites a hunger to step into an authentic relationship with Jesus. Only by responding to the daily invitation to follow Him do we become the people we were made to be. As Andi Andrew has written, 'Jesus came for a revolution inside our hearts that would transform our entire lives and, in turn, society.' Wherever you are in life, you don't have to fake it anymore. In fact, now is the time to refuse to fake it! Whether you have been a Christian for a lifetime or you have never set foot in a church, this book is for you. And don't just read and believe. Read and become."

Phillip Attmore, performance artist, writer, and speaker

"Andi is one of those funny, honest, and authentic people whom you always want to be around, and you'll feel that in her writing. Fake or Follower is filled with brilliant storytelling and insights that make you say, 'Wow, I needed that.' So don't pick up this book unless you're ready to keep reading! Get ready to be inspired."

Peter Haas, pastor, SubstanceChurch.com; author of humor books, Pharisectomy and Broken Escalators; and DJ producer for Substance Variant

"Through her experience in life and ministry, Andi is able to convey incredible spiritual insights in her book Fake or Follower. In a time when authenticity in our Christian lives is so vital for our world, the message in this book is much needed. We believe this book will become a great resource for many people."

Steve and Sharon Kelly, senior pastors, Wave Church
